Pro Grade
Designed to rescue brushes without damaging Kolinsky bristles. Made for deep cleaning when monomer isn’t enough.

Common Questions
No—when used properly, HB Brush Cleaner is safe for natural Kolinsky bristles. It’s designed for occasional deep cleaning, not daily use.
Acetone breaks down the natural oils in Kolinsky hair, dries it out, and can destroy the glue that holds your brush together. It may clean, but it also kills the brush. Acetone also dries out natural bristles and weakens the glue at the base—leading to shedding and brush failure.
This formula has been tested on natural Kolinsky brushes. However, many brushes on the market are a mix of nylon and natural hair. If your brush has a high nylon content, it may react differently. We always recommend using this product as a last resort cleaner, not for routine care. Keep in mind 95% of the brushes out there are not 100% Kolinsky.
Use monomer for daily cleaning. Reach for HB Brush Cleaner only when monomer can’t break down hardened product—it’s your heavy-duty backup.
